The school in colonia San Antonio was supposedly torched because school staff refused demands for payment made by extortionists recently. There were no reported injuries. Classes were canceled indefinitely. As the drug cartel war has raged, extortionists have demanded schools, businesses, medical professionals and others pay for protection.
