At 6 p.m. Saturday the Incident Management Team released this update: Pacheco Fire Update July 2, 2011 6:00 p.m. This will be the last update on the Pacheco Fire from the Arizona Central West Zone Incident Management Team. Future updates will be provided by the Santa Fe National Forest. Acres: 10,250 Start date: June 18, 2011 Cause: Under Investigation Location: 2 miles north of Santa Fe Ski Basin Containment: 55 percent Fuels: Mixed conifer and Ponderosa pine Terrain: Steep, rugged Resources: 5 crews, 9 engines, 6 water tenders, 1 dozer Total personnel: 328 Available air support: 1 helicopter Today’s Activity: The firefighters working on the Pacheco Fire on the Espanola Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest completed rehabilitation of the control lines on the south, west and north sides of the fire.
