McCullough: Honoring Treason, Hating America

Kevin McCullough
From Townhall.com - "Perhaps Berkeley California needs a good old barn burning, complete with torches and pitchforks!" These were my sentiments at the hearing of what the lunatics who run Liberalville USA have actually taken a vote on and passed in their most recent city council meetings. In short, they want to subvert justice and accelerate the killing of American military and the sources who are helping them in Afghanistan and Iraq. They also wish to honor a person who has committed more than 250,000 acts of treason (or at best espionage) against his nation, his strict military code and command, and the general welfare of even his own family. The media is to blame for reporting what the political perverts in Berkley are up to. Though Berkley is geographically located within the U.S. borders, most of us view Berkley as a small community of anti-American sociopaths. Their hero's are always terrorists, persons guilty of crimes (such as treason) and politicians who publicly embrace socialist and communist values. This is what makes America great. Here we have an entire community of freedom loathing socialist loons whose 1st amendment rights are being protected by the people's government for which they hate so much. So what's new in Berkley? What does surprise me is that these loons don't celebrate December 7th or the birthdays of Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin. Would it surprise any of us if the Berkley city council also passed a city resolution to celebrate the lives of two mass murderers? I don't know why it would. The people of Berkley and their civic leaders have earned their ridicule and diminished credibility. Their punishment fits the crime.
