On Sunday (June 19), the reliably Democrat-friendly editorial page of the Santa Fe New Mexican published a harsh review of King’s performance, saying the AG “has been dragging his public trust to political depths previously unplumbed.” Wow. King has been getting especially rough reviews for his performance — or lack thereof — in handling a number of high-profile cases as well as his seemingly tense relationship with another Democrat, state auditor Hector Balderas.
