New DOJ Rules Allow for More Intrusive Searches

Eric Holder
From biggovernment.com -It just got easier for the federal government to collect information about innocent Americans — and those Americans have had surprisingly little say in the matter.  On October 15, the FBI reportedly implemented new rules that relax restrictions on, and oversight of, the FBI’s intelligence collection activities. Although they are not available to the public, reports indicate the changes permit FBI agents to search an individual’s trash with the goal of finding material that might pressure him into becoming a government informant, grant agents the authority to search commercial or law enforcement databases without first opening an investigation, and reduce the type of investigations subjected to heightened oversight because of their relationship to protected First Amendment expression, association, or religious practice.  More News New Mexico

Now anyone with half a brain, and I realize that 95% of the people have less, understands that Congress is the only group authorized to pass laws or make rules and regulations. It takes a bit more than half a brain to understand: Delegata potestas non potest delegari! This is a maxim of law that was passed down to us through Sir William Blackstone. Very few people know of Blackstone, especially those in the legal field, or so it would seem by the legal profession's lack of knowledge concerning his contributions to our system of laws.

Delegata potestas non potest delegari means "A delegated power cannot itself be delegated.". Once We the People delegate to Congress the power to make laws, rules, and regulations, Congress is NOT empowered to allow anyone else to make laws, rules, or regulations. Not a single one of the rules or regulations created by an agency are legal constitutional laws.

Top all this off with the absolute, undeniable facat that the federal government was not granted broad police powers. In fact, the feds only the the power to punish for counterfeiting, piracies and felonies on the high seas, offenses against the Law of Nations, treason, and in securing copyrights and patents. There are no other grants of police power over the people. Now, the feds don't behave this way because of that same 95% who don't have half a brain. The feds do what they want when they want because the People are MORONS.

We the People wqant constitutional government. We the People have not had a constitutional government because as Lord Acton said, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
