Martinez visits Chihuahua, will honor great-grandfather

Susana Martínez arrived in Chihuahua City, Chihuahua, on Sunday to attend a special meeting of the Mexican state's Congress Monday. The meeting will honor those who fought during the Mexican Revolution in 1910, including her great-grandfather Toribio Ortega. According to a news release from Chihuahua state officials, Martínez will help unveil a sculpture of Ortega that honors him as a hero. On Sunday, officials said Martínez and Chihuahua Gov. Cesar Duarte toured historic sites in Chihuahua City. Among them was a shrine erected to honor Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a hero of Mexican Independence.
