McEntee is the first Republican to enter the race for
the seat currently held by freshman Democrat Michelle Lujan-Grisham of Albuquerque
McEntee says
he is running for the seat because he is "deeply concerned with the
direction of our nation" and the partisan hostility that has gripped Washington
McEntee was on the Albuquerque
City Council from 1997 to 2001.
