KOB TV - The American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico has filed a lawsuit against Secretary of State Dianna Duran for failing to release public records about her allegations of irregularities in the state's voter rolls. The ACLU contends that Duran withheld documents and heavily redacted email by improperly claiming executive privilege in keeping information confidential. The civil rights group had requested records about Duran's statements to legislators earlier this year that her office had found possible instances of voting by non-citizens - foreign nationals with a New Mexico driver's license.
