Taos Ski Valley officials are launching daily shuttle service to and from the Albuquerque International Sunport and Santa Fe Municipal Airport Nov. 21.
The shuttle service will take passengers to and from the Taos Ski Valley and the Town of Taos.
Officials are beginning the service to coincide with the opening of Taos Ski Valley’s 2012-2013 ski season on Nov. 22 and its “Yuletide in Taos” events which begin Nov. 23.
“Thanks to the ease of the new shuttle service offered by Taos Ski Valley, visitors can relax and enjoy a unique, warm holiday season with their family and friends,” Taos Mayor Darren Cordova said in a news release.
Shuttle service pick up from the Sunport is at 3:30 p.m. daily and drop off is at 11 a.m. Passengers can be dropped off at any lodging facility in Taos or at the Taos Ski Valley.
The cost for a round trip ticket to or from the Sunport is $85; a one way ticket is $50. Roundtrip tickets to or from Santa Fe Municipal Airport are $65; one way tickets are $40.
Reservations are required for the shuttle service and must be made 48 hours in advance. Passengers are allowed two bags including skis and snowboards. Pets are not allowed. To make reservations, call 800-776-1111.
