A look at the virus timeline connects the dots

© 2020 Jim Spence -  If you are paying attention, you will recognize continuous scorched earth politics when you see it. After just a little legwork, the timeline for coronavirus becoming the hysteria de jour is pretty easy to put together. Let’s look at how things have unfolded since the Russian Collusion accusations failed to be backed up by any evidence.

  • On January 11, 2020, the Chinese communists state media finally reported a single death from an virus/illness originating in Wuhan. This admission came long after communists knew they had a problem. Reports making their way past the censors in China, say the initial reaction of the regime was to arrest doctors in Wuhan who reported the virus last year. This is how things work in dictatorships.
  • On January 15, 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally held a vote to decide if the House would send articles of impeachment over to the Senate. Pelosi had made the decision to sit on the articles for a month beginning in mid-December. She held up the process not in the interest of time, but for political effect. She had no other priority.
  • After sending the articles to the Senate, House Democrats held a surreal made-for-media signing ceremony, complete with high fives and commemorative pens handed out to the party ring leaders. In the meantime, Chinese citizens carrying coronavirus were landing in the United States after travelling through Wuhan.
  • On January 23, 2020 Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment managers made their opening arguments for removing President Trump while admitting he had not committed any crimes. It was on this very same day that the Chinese Communist government actually shut down the entire city of Wuhan in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus to other parts of China and the rest of the world.
  • On January 30, 2020, The World Health Organization declared an emergency as coronavirus continued to spread beyond the Chinese borders.
  • Within 24 hours (January 31, 2020), President Trump, heeding the warning of the WHO, declared a national health emergency and imposed a ban on all travel to and from China. Because they use every opportunity imaginable to call Trump a racist, the Democrats blasted Trump for initiating a travel ban on Chinese visitors. Astonishingly, Joe Biden immediately characterized Trump’s decision to create a travel ban barrier for the virus “hysterical xenophobia … and fear-mongering.” It was clear the Democrat’s game plan at this stage was still to focus on trying to damage Trump via impeachment. The threat of coronavirus was not in the Democrat's talking points yet.
  • On February 4, 2020, President Trump actually spoke about the dangers of coronavirus in his State of the Union address. The Democratic response on cornoanvirus at this point was mute, as it had been in all Democrat Presidential debates. Nancy Pelosi decided to rip up every page of the speech copy she had been furnished for the State of the Union address, including the pages containing the discussion of the coronavirus threat. Pelosi also delayed votes on actions to address the disease as her impeachment fiasco unfolded.

Joe Biden was not the only Democrat to call Trump a racist for trying to quarantine Chinese travelers away from the U.S. population. The ACLU did so, as did many other high-profile Democrats. In fact, even in recent days, Democrats continue to hurl the racist charge at anyone who mentions that coronavirus is a Chinese-born disease originating in Wuhan.
Not long after the impeachment effort failed to damage Trump, the news media began to latch on to the coronavirus story. Using dubious math instead of logic and reason, media outlets have managed to create an economic stampede instead of broadcasting responsible support for all efforts to protect the vulnerable.
When will the insanity end?
Nobody knows, but a look at the timeline connects the dots on what is going on here.
