Brewbaker Announces Run for House District 52

“After much thought and prayer and with the support of family, friends and supporters, I have decided to run for the New Mexico House of Representatives,” said Fajardo. “I believe New Mexicans are tired of career politicians who won’t represent the values and views of their constituents.”
Fajardo continued, “I want to take this opportunity to thank Rep. Chavez for his service to New Mexico and Valencia County and also for advocating for our county’s infrastructure needs in Santa Fe.”
Fajardo believes we need leaders with the courage to stand-up to the status quo. Among Fajardo’s priorities will be to promote economic growth and development, increase public safety by repealing the law that allows illegal immigrants to obtain drivers licenses and to reform our education system.
“I look forward to meeting the voters in District 7 and with their consent, to representing them in Santa Fe next year,” said Fajardo.
Fajardo had previously announced her candidacy for Valencia County Clerk.
Fajardo is the owner of KKF Media, a social media and web services consulting company. Mrs. Fajardo founded her business in 2011 and is growing it to meet the communications needs of businesses in Valencia County and throughout New Mexico. Previously, Fajardo was the Director of Information Systems for TMM Business Records Storage in Albuquerque.
Mrs. Fajardo serves on the board of directors for the Greater Belen Chamber of Commerce and is a member of both the Valencia County Chamber of Commerce and the Hispano Chamber of Commerce. Fajardo is also a member of the Business Women of Valencia County. She is a frequent speaker before small business and community organizations on the topic of the future of technology, the Internet, and social media. Mrs. Fajardo is married to Larry Fajardo and is a mother to three children.
UNM and NMSU Make Big Dance
The New Mexico Division I schools have both advanced into the March Madness brackets to be released later today. Last night the UNM Lobos won the Mountain West Conference Tournament with a win over San Diego State University and the NMSU Aggies defeated the Lousiana Tech Bulldogs to win the Western Athletic Conference Tournament.
The two teams split their games against each other with the Aggies winning in the Pit and the Lobos winning in the Pan American Center. Steve Alford's Lobos and Marvin Menzies Aggies are sure to be glued to the television later today when the NCCA tournament brackets are released at 4:00pm Mountain Daylight Time on CBS.
The Oil and Gas Industry is Helping Grow the United States Economy

While less dependent on Middle Eastern oil than California, the United States is like California, in that we have vast resources that are locked up due to regulation, blocked access, and delayed permitting. President Obama touts the reduction of imported oil, but his bragging rights may be short-lived, if he continues on the same anti-drilling track California has been on.

Mrs. Alberson has been married to her husband Dennis for 24 years . They have two sons and three daughters. Cathey and Dennis have been small business owners for 19 years.
Cathey is committed to Las Cruces, and knows the importance of community service. She has been active in the Junior League and the Republican Party of Dona Ana County. Cathey has a heart for our youth, working with organizations that provide political education to our young people and encouraging them to be involved in their community, state, and nation. As a tennis coach for our youth, she has promoted active participation in the United States Tennis Association.

"It's a really cool thing to get to be that much in their life when they're growing up," said Hunter. Her place in Roswell, Hunter Creek Farms, has about 140 horses, with 95-percent being race horses, bred for the track.
Up to 150 horses are delivered at Hunter's farm each year from January until June, when up to seven are born in one day.

"It is so amazing, I've done over 13-hundred and it's still the coolest thing I've ever, every baby is still just like the very first time," explained Hunter.
Pregnancy for horses can last around 11 months, and Hunter said each one of these mares on her farm are ready to have their baby any minute, which is why she keeps a close eye on them.
"I have 24 cameras around in the barn, in the pens outside the barn, so I can watch the mares constantly, even if I'm not out there with them," Hunter said. Read full story here: News New Mexico

Pay Attention New Mexico! Senators Udall and Bingaman Continue to Vote for High Gas Prices and Unemployment
It is noteworthy that Senators Mark Begich of Alaska and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana both voted for the pipeline to go forward. These Senators also represent voters in states that also natural resources to help pay the bills.
What are New Mexicans to think of Tom Udall and Jeff Bingaman? One could start with recognizing they two lawyers are economically illiterate dreamers. Their votes are compelling admissions that they have no clue how jobs are created or how damaging high gas prices are on the average New Mexican.
Amazingly, Martin Heinrich also went on the record last week (for those paying attention) to say he was opposed to the pipeline project. Representative Ben Ray Lujan has also cast similar anti-consumer and anti-job votes. In November Martin Heinrich wants to take Bingaman’s place in the Senate and Ben Ray is also Lujan seeking re-election. Unfortunately, New Mexicans won't get a chance to send Udall packing for another two years.
To be fair there are two sides to this story. Those New Mexicans who don’t mind paying high gas prices and seeing the unemployment rate remain high should consider continuing to support these people. The rest of us should make note of these absurd votes and tell all our family members and friends. These guys need to go.
Romney Really Might Not Have the Delegates by June

Real Clear Politics - The Republican primary has revealed distinct geographic tendencies. Mitt Romney is dominant in New England and in the West. Newt Gingrich has run well in the Deep South, while Rick Santorum has done well in caucus states, the Great Plains, and the peripheral South (it remains to be seen whether his support has bled into Gingrich's strength in the Deep South). That leaves the Midwest as a battleground between Romney and Santorum. While Romney had a good night on Super Tuesday, the truth is that he did nothing to alter the basic regional nature of his support. He won handily in New England and the West, essentially tied in the Midwest, and ran poorly in the South. Given the structure of the primary season, this portends a long slog to the nomination, and makes it difficult for Romney to wrap up the nomination early on. Read More News New Mexico
