Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke heads for Capitol Hill today to testify. He is widely expected to warn Congress that if federal spending is not reigned in, America will simply head farther down the same path of self destruction that is now plaguing many countries in Europe. Humorists have joked that there are unconfirmed rumors that several domestic public sector unions are considering a strike as a protest to Bernanke's warnings.
