District 37 NM State House of Representatives member Jeff Steinborn will appear on News New Mexico at 8:00am Friday morning. Steinborn will share his dreams for our state and offer his views on a wide variety of issues including the controversial wilderness proposal for land in Southern Dona Ana County near the Mexican border. One thing this guy said is true, people are willing to distort the truth in order to win. It's an outright falsehood to state that the wilderness area will IMPROVE security. Unfortunately HE'S one of those people willing to promote an outright falsehood to advance his ideological agenda. His insistence that security would be improved is an INSULT to our intelligence. How did man ever get elected?
He stands up to special interest groups?? Really? Then...what's all this nonsense with supporting the wilderness issue? When will this guy drop his own ego and begin making decisions on behalf of the people. He wants to SPREAD the pain? Great, that's code words for RAISING TAXES!! Yes, there's a definitive difference between him and his opponent. How many tax cuts has this guy voted for? Lets put the lip service aside and check the record.
I never realized how insulting this guest could be until I heard him bashing Michael on his own show. Who would vote for this person?
Steinborn states "Wilderness is a mainsteam position" and "Wilderness improves border security"? Yeah, you bet. He either has an elistist view that truly believes he knows best for everyone else, or he is a very polished liar.
