LAS CRUCES, N.M. - For the second straight match the Aggies were forced to play a five-set match but tonight against Idaho it was a welcome sight. The Aggies were dominated through the first two sets losing 25-16 and 25-18 and went into intermission searching for answers. The Aggies came out of the break with the answers they needed and dominated the Vandals through the final three sets 25-17, 25-16 and 15-8 to cap the unlikely comeback.

Kayleigh Giddens tied for match-high kills with 18 and added 10 digs for her league-leading 9th double-double. Freshman outside hitter Rocio Gutierrez provided a spark off the bench for the Aggies and recorded 11 kills on 24 swings with just two attack errors for a .375 attack percentage. She also added 11 digs for a double-double. Click here to read more.
