Giddens Sets Kills Record; Aggie Swept By Utah State

The Aggies bid farewell to their seniors on Wednesday night and Kayleigh Giddens recorded 14 kills to become the Aggies' all-time single season kills leader with 513 kills but the Aggies were swept by Utah State 3-0 losing 25-21, 19-25 and 20-25 to fall to 18-12 and 12-4 in WAC play as they head to Las Vegas, NV for the WAC Tournament.

Fellow senior Whitney Woods finished with nine kills and seven digs in her final home match. The Aggies hit just .040 in the match committing 31 errors and were blocked 15 times.

Liz McArthur finished with 10 kills and 12 digs while Shantell Durrant finished with 10 kills and eight block assists and hit .444 in the match.

The Aggies head to Las Vegas for the WAC Tournament where they have a bye into the semifinal round where they will face the winner of the 3 vs. 6 seed match on Monday night. Click here to read more.
