From Capitol Report New Mexico - One month after passing a controversial cap and trade agreement, the New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board (EIB) on Monday (Dec. 6) passed another sweeping measure aimed at lowering the state’s greenhouse gas emissions. By a 4-1 vote, the EIB passed a statewide, New Mexico-only plan that places a cap upon the amount of emissions generated in the state. The plan was headed by the environmental group the New Energy Economy (you can see some of the details of the plan here.) Read more here:

Evidently this group of clueless clowns is completely unaware of last months election results. Martinez should be asking for the entire board to submit their letter of resignation. Martinez should reverse their buffoonery POST HASTE! Is there no limit to the treachery and lunacy of these hopeless ideologues? How could anyone cede the power to further destroy our economy to a group of seven people? How is it possible that these people were ever appointed to such an import position within our state government. Their actions not only represent what's wrong with New Mexico and the U.S. but they act in deliberate defiance of the people. Good riddance!
