Capitol Report New Mexico - Back on Friday, we posted a story in which Rep. Andy Nuñez (I-Hatch) revealed that he would not be able to introduce a bill aimed at repealing the state law granting driver’s licenses to illegal immigrantsduring the special session of the legislature. “I don’t have the votes,” Nuñez said, adding, “The thing that I got out of that right there was the shaft. Because Sandra Jeff would not support me after voting for that bill, for my driver’s license bill. And I needed her vote.” On Sunday (Sept. 25), Capitol Report New Mexico heard back from Rep.
