Bankruptcy Filings Down in NM

New Mexico Business Weekly - Bankruptcy filings dropped by 8 percent in the U.S. for the 12-month period that ended June 30, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court said Monday. In New Mexico, bankruptcy filings for this calendar year are down 14 percent from the same period in 2010, the New Mexico Bankruptcy Court reported. At the end of October, 4,855 bankruptcy cases had been filed in New Mexico, compared to the 5,618 cases that had been filed by the end of October 2010, the Court said.
