KOB TV - Protestors with the (un)Occupy Albuquerque protest marched to the UNM president’s office Tuesday morning in a final attempt to get a new permit. When they got there, there were in for a surprise – they were greeted by officers and locked doors. Officers were on standby, but overall it was a peaceful and organized march. The protestors are trying to convince UNM to renew a permit that would allow the group to stay at Yale Park. Monday, UNM announced that it would not renew the permit - and told the protestors they must vacate by 10 p.m. Tuesday. Read full story here: News New Mexico
