This attitude is EXACTLY that from which the Framers of the 4th Amendment sought to protect us.
Too many fo the ignornati think it's about getting the "bad guys". The legal system is SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT JUSTICE. It is not. Read the papers. Every week someone somewhere is being found innocent of crap the persecutors in government have faked in order to get nothces on their guns.
Stand up for justice. Stand up for honor. The government is NOT omniscient. The government is NOT honest. Prosecutors will get someone, regardlss because the ignorant people want it so, as long as it's somebody else.
Regardless of what the supreme court decides, and the SC gets it wrong 99% of the time, know that the 4th protects all of us from the government, including and especially government spying. Of course, people say it's only for the "bad guys" but it's the government that decides who the "bad guys" are. Beware what you ask for, for you nay get it.
Nice Post. The devices are very useful in tracking stolen vehicles. The uses of these devices are numerous.
