Darcie Johnston of Johnston Consulting, and Paul Hatch of 101 Strategy Partners will serve as the campaign's finance consultants, focusing on national major donor operations and campaign finance strategies.

Sowards reported raising $152,035 in the first quarter and retains over $150,000 cash on-hand according to the most recent financial filing, dated April 15th, with the Federal Election Commission.
