The Change of a Few Words Tells the Story of Day One at the Democratic National Convention

Members of Hamas Enjoying a Rally
The story of the first day of the Democratic National Convention was made before Michelle Obama ever took the stage last night. The story was the removal of a few words and phrases from the party platform. These specific choices made by the Obama administration tells the average American how much the Democratic Party has changed in just four short years. The choices made by Democrats were simply remarkable. The inluence of Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farakhan could be seen everywhere.
For starters, the Democrats removed three sentences identifying Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The language below was chosen for removal:
"Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel. The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths."
The Democrats also simply removed without further comment the following language designed to call attention to the danger of the notorious terrorist group Hamas: "The United States and its Quartet partners should continue to isolate Hamas until it renounces terrorism, recognizes Israel’s right to exist, and abides by past agreements."
Considering the DNC has devoted two hours to an event Friday that is tabbed as a "call to prayer for Muslims," an event in which a Catholic Cardinal was denied the right to also say a prayer, ties together and provides continuity to each of these platform actions by the DNC.
Also gone from the Democratic Party platform is a previous reference to “God.” Democrats chose this phrase for modification:
"We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential." In this year's platform the Obama administration decided the words "God-given" should simply be removed. The changes can be summarized as follows: References to God are to be diminished except of course for the DNC's sponsorship of the Muslim call to prayer event. Condemnation to a radical Muslim terrorist organization has been driopped and Israel's capital city was put up for grabs. Interesting.

Red Dots of Reality

Below is a chart the Obama Administration produced to sell the massive government stimulus plan to the American public. The dark blue line depicts the administration's projection of the unemployment rate with the passage of its stimulus package. The light blue line shows the admnistration's projections without the stimulus.
The red dotted line shows the ACTUAL unemployment rate after the Obama stimulus package was passed by super majorities in both the House and the Senate and the federal government borrowed $800 billion.

Fed Chairman: Economy is "Painfully Slow"

Ben Bernanke
Barack Obama did not have a good day yesterday. First Mitt Romney announced plans to visit the hurricane battered Gulf Coast prompting the president to hastily arrange his own trip to the area. In that brief post GOP convention moment America was already seeing signs of Mitt Romney leading and Barack Obama following. Things got worse. Obama's Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke spoke at the Fed’s annual gathering in Jackson Hole, Wyoming yesterday. What he had to say confirmed what Republicans said all week in Tampa about the sorry status of the jobs environment.
Mr Bernanke was more glum than ever as he provided fresh details on the disappointing state of the United States economy. His speech came on the heels of news that jobless claims rose again last week. Bernanke's plain talk on the excruciatingly sluggish economy raised market expectations of more Fed action to get the economy off of life support in September.
“Taking due account of the uncertainties and limits of its policy tools, the Federal Reserve will provide additional policy accommodation as needed to promote a stronger economic recovery and sustained improvement in labor market conditions,” Bernanke said.
Bernanke also described the economy as, “painfully slow” in his speech.
Bernanke issued a disturbing warning to the millions Americans looking for jobs. “Unless the economy begins to grow more quickly than it has recently, the unemployment rate is likely to remain far above levels consistent with maximum employment for some time,” Bernanke said.

Isaac Hits New Orleans, Police and Guard on Patrol

Hurricane Isaac's floodwaters spilled over a levee just outside of New Orleans today. The gigantic slow moving system weakened to a tropical storm this afternoon. New multibillion-dollar barriers paid for with the nation's taxpayer dollars, which were constructed to protect the city after Hurricane Katrina, seemed to be holding.
Reuters quoted New Orleans Mayor Mitchell Landrieu as saying, "The federal levee system ... is fine," when he was asked about the city that was built below sea level today.
"There are no risks. It is holding exactly as we expected it to and is performing exactly as it should," he added.
Police and National Guard units, patrolled the downtown area of the city to protect businesses and homes from looters who use crippling storms as an opportunity to steal.
Despite widespread flood damage, a few injuries, and devastating power outages that are fairly typical of any hurricane, the mainstream media was relieved that unlike the damages and threats to life caused during Katrina, the damages and destruction caused by Issac were not a result of racism. Only hurricanes that occured between 2001 and the end of 2008 that hit cities constructed below sea level, that have large minority populations that ignore advance storm warnings, are storms that cause death and damages due to racism.

Romney in Hobbs: Jobs Are "Right Underneath Our Feet"

Mitt Romney
Presenting a basic vision for fixing what is wrong with America, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney spoke the obvious in Hobbs today. Pointing to something quite basic that has somehow escaped the consciousness of all but a handful of Democrats nationwide, Romney simply explained how to put America back to work.
The Romney vision for encouraging profitable domestic energy production stands in stark contrast to President Obama's energy boondoggles. Investing billions of taxpayer dollars in a trail of bankrupt solar energy companies like Solyndra is the cornerstone of the Obama vision for the nation's economic future. And Obama's blocking of the Keystone XL pipeline is what the White House is doing about job creation in the present.
Romney said this to his Hobbs audience, “3 million jobs come back to this country by taking advantage of something we have right underneath our feet. That’s oil, and gas, and coal. We’re going to make it happen. We’re going to create those jobs. Let me tell you what else it does. It adds $500 billion to the size of our economy. That is more good wages. That’s an opportunity for more Americans to have a bright and prosperous future. It also means, by the way, tens of billions, potentially hundreds of billions of dollars, of tax revenues going into states and the federal government which can make sure we have a military second to none and schools that lead the world and care for our seniors, better roads and bridges.
"Companies Like Solyndra Are Our Future"
Accomplishing what I’ve described right there also means lower energy prices for American families and by the way, for American businesses, so that as businesses are thinking about where to build a factory and they look at the cost of production, let’s say, of a particular product, and they look at the energy cost, they see that here in North America, we have ample energy and it is low cost. And that will bring businesses back here. So you are going to see more manufacturing come back to the United States as a result of doing what is so clearly in our best interest.” You can watch the video of Romney here: News New Mexico

Obama Co-Chair Gave $10,000 to Ryan PAC

Marc Benioff
President Barack Obama's campaign team has a credibility problem…..again. His political surrogates have been nailing the “extremist” label on Paul Ryan ever since he was selected as Mitt Romney’s V.P. choice. There’s just one problem. One of the Obama campaign's biggest fundraisers and donors is also a contributor to the PAC of Paul Ryan.
Marc Benioff, a national campaign co-chair for President Obama's re-election campaign, donated $10,000 to Ryan's political action committee earlier just two months ago (in June), according to CNN.
Apparently Benioff met with Paul Ryan and was very impressed with his budget reform ideas. According the CNN Benioff said Ryan's proposals, “Offer 'a lot of the right long-term thinking for the country."
Now that doesn’t sounds like an extremist as much as it does a truth teller.

My How the Tune Changes

Washington Times - President Obama's administration doesn’t see the need for defense contractors to warn employees about possible layoffs from across-the-board budget cuts, but in 2007, then-Sen. Barack Obama railed against employers for failing to notify workers who were in danger of losing their jobs.

“The least employers can do when they’re anticipating layoffs is to let workers know they’re going to be out of a job and a paycheck with enough time to plan for their future,” Mr. Obama said in a news release on July 17, 2007, while campaigning for president.
The Obama administration said Monday in guidance from the Labor Department that federal contractors don’t need to warn their employees that they could lose their jobs because of the looming budget cuts that are slated to begin Jan. 2. Read full story here: News New Mexico

ABC News Has Learned Nothing About Professional Ethics Since Tucson

Wow! That didn’t take long. At 6:00am MDT this morning, as soon as we took the air on News New Mexico, we cautioned media outlets suggesting they refrain from the temptation to transmit their political biases through their coverage of the massacre in Aurora, Colorado. We cited what happened immediately after the shootings in Tucson, Arizona only eighteen months ago.
Brian Ross
Well, it is too bad ABC’s national news desk didn’t learn anything from the Tucson tragedy or listen to our show. It seems “reporter” Brian Ross and the ABC News organization found itself apologizing for an "incorrect" report that James Holmes, the suspect in the Colorado theater shooting, may have had connections to the Tea Party. How long did it take to transmit the false information and then retract the smear job? It all happened before lunchtime today.
Here is what ABC had to say: "An earlier ABC News broadcast report suggested that a Jim Holmes of a Colorado Tea Party organization might be the suspect, but that report was incorrect. ABC News and Brian Ross apologize for the mistake, and for disseminating that information before it was properly vetted."
It is truly instructive to find that the first thing an ABC reporter would do in the wake of this massacre is search Tea Party websites in the area. Was ABC be looking to use this immense human tragedy simply as a golden opportunity to smear what it obviously perceives to be a political opponent? Maybe. Does anyone wonder why Fox News has such a huge following? Not really.

Bernanke Gets a Free Pass on Capitol Hill

Ben Bernanke
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke told lawmakers on Capitol Hill today that progress in reducing unemployment is likely to be “frustratingly slow.” Not exactly music to the ears of the "forward" message of the Obama re-election efforts.
Bernanke said the Federal Open Market Committee is considering whether the economy will need additional stimulus to reduce an unemployment rate that has remained well above 8 percent since February of 2009. Bernanke suggested moves by the Fed to reduce the cost of borrowing by the Federal government have been “effective in easing financial conditions and promoting strength in the economy.”
However, Bernanke made no mention of how the Fed’s “large-scale asset purchases” have actually destroyed the interest income earning potential of millions of savers in the U.S. By forcing interest rates down to Depression Era levels or worse, the actual costs of the massive government deficits the last three years has been masked. None of the lawmakers challenged Bernanke today on the horrific damage done to savers who rely on interest income, as a result of government-friendly anti-saver policies.

The Great Distraction: Fact checks Support Romney on Bain Capital Attacks From Obama

Mitt Romney
Amidst Democratic Party leaning fact-checking organizations findings that President Obama is running untruthful advertisements about Mitt Romney, on Monday Romeny accused President Barack Obama of running a “campaign based on falsehood and dishonesty.”
“A campaign based on falsehood and dishonesty does not have long legs,” Romney said on “Fox and Friends,” this morning.
Romeny also said, “The president only has one thing going, and that is constant attacks on me. They’re dishonest. They’re misdirected. And I think the American people recognize that kind of politics as something of the past. It may work in Chicago, but it’s not going to work across America.”
Romney scoffed at President Obama’s assertion of executive privilege over documents related to the disastrous “gun-walking” operation that took place under right hand man Eric Holder's watch at the Department of Justice. He did so in response for calls for transparency by the White House.

Video: "You are so white, you are extremely white"

A YouTube video produced by "The Message," an online "media hub," depicts an actor playing Mitt Romney getting advice on what to say to the civil rights group. In their press release, the producers said the video, "Lacerates Romney and his advisors as they prepare for his speech to NAACP in Houston on Wednesday." You can watch the video here: News New Mexico
The man playing the Romney advisor tells the Romney character, "You are so white, you are extremely white, you make Wonder Bread look like pumpernickel," then he advises the Romney actor to "Go on out there and get all Mormon, Martin Luther King on them, you're going to be great."
According to a news release, The Message said it plans to use videos to "say things that Democrats are afraid to say, connect with young voters-many of whom are alienated by today's political climate, and give smart and insightful voices an opportunity to contribute to the debate." The Daily Kos said of the video: "Driving The Message are Razor & Tie co-founder Cliff Chenfeld, former Media Matters for America president Eric Burns, former AOL chief creative officer and co-founder of theknot.com Michael Wolfson, and former New York Times journalist Andrew Zipern. The Message’s unique mix of entertainment experience, political and messaging savvy, online creativity and distribution expertise, and a journalist’s eye makes it the platform Democrats and progressives need to lift their voices above the Republicans and have a cultural conversation that molds this election cycle and beyond."
This amazing piece of rank stereotyping which represents the views of several well known individuals within the progressive movement requires no explanation other than what is seen. It is as if they have never read anything written by Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Deroy Murdock, Herman Cain, Star Parker, Lurita Doan, LaShawn Barber, Larry Elder, Ken Blackwell, Allen West, Harry Jackson Jr., Charles Payne, J.C. Watts, or Michael Steele, too mention but a few.....let alone visit the Project 21 website.

Obama Plans Fresh Round of Divide and Conquer

President Barack Obama can unite the country just as long as he can divide it. The president will propose a one-year extension of current tax cuts for families earning less than $250,000 today, if Congress will simply allow him to increase income taxes on people earning above that arbitrary annual income amount. It is unlikely the president will explain that nearly 50% of all households pay ZERO federal income taxes.
With horrible more jobs numbers late last week and the U.S. economy taking on water, it appears this strategy is the latest political effort by the president’s and his advisers to do anything and everything that helps stop America from talking about the overall direction the nation is headed. It is doubtful the president will try to justify his killing of hundreds of thousands of jobs associated with the Keystone XL pipeline project during these upcoming events.
Instead, a series of cynical battleground-state events are on tap for this week where the president is expected to try to divide the nation's voters based on their income.
Of course, the president knows his divisive proposal will be dead on arrival on Capitol Hill. But Obama isn’t seeking a growth strategy that will jump start the economy as much as he is an excuse to blame Congress for the terrible economic news that has decimated people’s views of the nation’s prospects.
For his part, Mitt Romney wants to extend current tax rates for families of all incomes. And oddly, it was just eighteen months ago that the president also agreed to extend the current tax rates for all taxpayers. As it is, all Americans face massive tax increases at the end of the year.
Many Democrats including Sen. Charles Schumer of New York and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California elected officials in states with high income rates are on the record for keeping rates the same for families earning up to $1 million a year. It would seem that even Democrats have trouble defining how government should use its taxing powers to make life "fair."

Despite a String of Bankruptcies Richardson Will Lead Energy "Forum" at the Democratic Convention

Bill Richardson
Critics suggest that former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson is proving once again that a record of failure in the world of energy investing doesn’t matter to progressive media outlet Politico or the Democratic Party.
New Mexico Watchdog reported earlier this week via Politico that former Governor Richardson will “lead an energy forum” at the Democratic National Party’s convention sponsored by Politico.
By almost any measure it is an amazing invitation. Despite a horrendous investment record in New Mexico where virtually every solar venture Richardson plowed public funds into stiffed creditors and filed for bankruptcy protection, apparently the Democrats still want Richardson to deliver a lecture on the subject of energy investing.
Not surprisingly, Richardson’s results are not dissimilar to those of the Obama Department of Energy. The highest profile failure to date by the administration is the more than a half a billion dollars it threw at Solyndra, only to see that company go straight into bankruptcy. Energy industry observers are astonished that Democrats continue to be insistent about trying to pound square taxpayer funded "investment" pegs into round economic reality holes. Here is a partial list of other recent solar bankruptcies besides Schott Solar, Advent Solar, and Solyndra: Evergreen Solar, SpectraWatt, Stirling Energy Systems, Photowatt, Solon, Energy Conversion Devices, Scheuten Solar, Odersun, Q-Cells, and Solar Trust of America.
The NM Watchdog is waiting to hear from Politico on why considering Richardson’s dismal track record, he was selected to lead the forum. And curiously, nobody at the DNC has plans to host a forum to see what could be done to build the Keystone XL pipeline or encourage Exxon Mobil, Chevron, and Conoco Phillips to grow their businesses so they can increase income taxes paid to the government above the current $37 billion per year.

Executive Privilege and the Playing of the Race Card, That Oughta Take Care of It!

There have been hundreds of dead Mexican citizens found at crime scenes lately. Many were killed by guns walked across the border under the orders of yet unnamed DOJ officials. There are also two dead U.S. government agents, Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata. Both men were also murdered with weapons provided to drug cartels by the same U.S. Department of Justice.
Congress began to investigate these massacres more than a year ago. First, Eric Holder sent Congress an initial response letter that was loaded with lies (or the musings of a completely incompetent Attorney General). So patently false were the statements made by Holder in his letter, he later had to retract it. Since then we have seen months of absolute stonewalling and misleading statements by Holder as Congress has pressed for the truth behind all of these homicides.
In the face of this situation we must now guess what the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) will do as a Contempt of Congress vote looms. All indications suggest the CBC believes this investigation is NOT about illegal gunrunning to drug cartels by the DOJ. And the CBC does not think these unanswered questions are about hundreds of dead bodies at crime scenes in Mexico. The CBC does not even think this unsolved gunrunning crime is about two U.S. agents killed on both sides of the border, by drug lords using these weapons. The big thing about this story is, well, it is that the Attorney General, is um, well, he is black. And to the CBC, this seems to be the over-riding fact common to all of these homicides.
Accordingly, late today the CBC leadership called a members-only "emergency" meeting for Thursday. There they are expected to plot a "walkout strategy" ahead of the scheduled contempt vote of Attorney General Eric Holder later in the day. The plans, which have been detailed in the media outlet the Alley is based on an email from the executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus. It includes circulating a letter disapproving of the vote. The walk out of the Capitol building tomorrow will be for the purpose of holding a press conference. During the actual roll call, the CBC is expected to tell reporters........drum roll please........they have decided to once again PLAY THE RACE CARD.
Brian Terry's casket
It is a fascinating strategy. Will it work? It might. The press has reported in recent days that President Obama is really thumping Romney in the polling of Hispanics. One can only wonder how many more Mexican citizens will have to be murdered by drug cartels using guns provided by Holder's DOJ. Maybe the polls will begin soon to reflect a bankrupt value system that produces a claim of "executive privilege" and yet another playing of the "race card" when questions regarding hundreds of homicides persist. Time will tell. Today New Mexico's Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Lujan are expected to assist Holder's efforts to obstruct justice and Steve Pearce is expected to support the homicide investigation.

Carney Covers for Obama and Holder

Jay Carney
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has a tough job. He has to stand at a podium before reporters almsot every day and make false statements. He did so again on Thursday when he suggested that unanswered subpoenas demanding information on the deaths of two federal law enforcement agents that came as a result of the “Fast and Furious” gun-running operation is nothing more than “political theater.”
Brian Terry's casket
In a feeble attempt to explain why President Obama chose to claim “executive privilege” over Justice Department documents sought by Congressional investigators who are trying to determine who actually gave the order to allow guns into the hands of Mexican Drug Cartels, Carney blamed the GOP. As the efforts to obstruct and deceive have escalated, investigators also want to determine what actions taken by the DOJ led Eric Holder to submit a false statement to investigators that he had to later retract.
Jaime Zapata's casket
In a cynical game of political chess the White House has chosen to ignore the fact that the families of both slain officers (Jaime Zapata and Brian Terry) simply want to know how their loved ones could be killed protecting America, while the DOJ was shipping the guns that killed them to Mexican drug cartels.
Comfort offered at the Zapata funeral
Today, Jay Carney rubbed salt into the families wounds when he said Eric Holder has made repeated good-faith efforts to comply with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s investigation. Holder has actually done nothing but make false statements and obstruct justice since the news of Fast and Furious first broke.
Astonishingly, when Carney was asked if he could state categorically that there has been no cover-up by the administration, he replied, “Absolutely.”
One can only wonder how with his role as press secretary Carney could know what will be the final outcome of the investigation of these two murders. He must get around.

Obama: "The Private Sector is Doing Fine"

In response to a question about Republican criticism of his approach to supporting the U.S. economy with good policies President Obama's latest answer offered fresh evidence that he has no idea what the job market is like for millions of Americans. "The private sector is doing fine," Obama said. "Where we're seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government. Oftentimes cuts initiated by, you know, Governors or mayors who are not getting the kind of help that they have in the past from the federal government and who don't have the same kind of flexibility as the federal government in dealing with fewer revenues coming in. And so, you know, if Republicans want to be helpful, if they really want to move forward and put people back to work, what they should be thinking about is how do we help state and local governments....." he added. The president made no mention of the Solyndra bankruptcy or his killing of the Keystone XL pipeline and all of the jobs that were lost when he did so.

Thanks Speculators!

A couple of months ago President Obama ripped “speculators” because he claimed they control oil prices and when crude topped $108 it hurt the country. Rather than accept any share of the blame for stifling oil production on federal lands through the systematic denial of drilling permits, according to the president, it was all the fault of speculators.
We have been watching closely lately. Oil fell below $90 per barrel earlier this week and Jay Carney the White House spokesman has yet to “thank” speculators on behalf of the president for lowering oil prices. Stand by. Surely this president will get around to thanking the people who control oil prices for lowering them. We all know lower oil prices tend to help incumbents. Surely the White House, so quick to blame speculators when oil prices worked against his political ambitions will soon thank speculators now that oil prices have moved dramatically in the other direction. Don't hold your breath.

Long Lines for Jobs Except for Keystone Jobs

In 2012 the lines for job seekers are blocks long. With no Keystone pipeline jobs to be had, in many locales the federal govrnment has decided not to block related job creation actions involving fossil fuels.
CNBC is reporting that at the Hyundai plant in Montgomery, Alabama more than 20,000 people have applied for one of the 877 job openings. Hyundai will build cars that burn……well….they will burn fossil fuels. These are the same fuels that the Obama Administration found to be so objectionable, it actually blocked all the jobs associated with the Keystone pipeline. The ironies of the illogical Keystone pipeline policy are everywhere.
1. Last summer more than 18,000 people applied for one of the 1,800 jobs at a re-tooled Ford plant in Louisville, Kentucky. That plant will open and start building the Edge SUV in mid-June.
2. Also in 2011, more than 41,000 applied for one of the 1,300 positions at the new Toyota plant in being built in Tupelo, Mississippi.
3. In 2009, more than 65,000 applied for one of the 2,700 jobs at the new Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, TN. Since opening, that plant has added shifts and is currently hiring another 820 workers. Tens of thousands would gladly take those jobs too.
Decent pay and benefits from solid companies in the auto industry, an industry that manufactures products that burn fossil fuels, is the common denominator in this story.
Strangely with all of the people out of work, and these companies mentioned above making products that burn fossil fuels, one has to wonder why President Obama isn’t blocking all these jobs too, just as he did the jobs and tax revenues associated with the Keystone pipeline. After all, when the cars are built at all the factories listed above, their purchasers will need access to gasoline, a fuel Obama burns constantly, but also despises so much. It just doesn't make sense, unless you live in progressive-land.

Memorial Day in Progressive Land

Chris Hayes, of MSNBC's Sunday morning show "Up with Chris Hayes," says he's uncomfortable ascribing valorous terms to fallen military because it's "rhetorically proximate" to justifications for more war. (Maybe they should rename the show, "Up Yours Chrs Hayes")
In one way or another this is precisely the sort of commentary one has come to expect from MSNBC. Rather than go on and on about the actual mechanics of how the freedom of Chris Hayes' speech is protected, you can simply watch the video here and draw your own conclusions about what this spokesman for countless progressive Democrats has to say about men and women coming home in flag draped caskets.

Bloomberg Reporter Either Uninformed or a Liar

Meera Louis
It has been widely reported in the news that U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner says “paralysis” in the U.S. political system has worsened the nation’s economic challenges. The problem with the media is there are too many journalists who are either terribly uninformed or worse yet unrepentant liars. A case in point is an article posted by Bloomberg. It purports to explain from U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's view what part of the problem with the U.S. economy is. That is fine and dandy until this phrase is presented as "news."
"Republicans rejected President Barack Obama’s $3.8 trillion election-year budget plan, saying it didn’t go far enough to reduce the deficit or boost economic growth. Obama’s proposed budget, while initially boosting the U.S. economy, would later this decade become a drag on growth, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office said April 20."
The truth is both DEMOCRATS and Republicans REJECTED the president's budget. In fact, the aforementioned budget submitted by President Obama did not garner a single vote from a Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this year when it was defeated 411 - 0. Of course, last year in a vote in U.S. Senate, President Obama's budget was defeated 97 - 0. Again it did not garner a single vote from a DEMOCRAT. Bloomberg news writer Meera Louis is one of two things, 1) a completely uninformed journalist without a clue as to how to gather and  present ALL relevant facts, or 2) a bald-faced partisan liar who could toss aside all sense of honesty and simply report what Geithner said about paralysis, without pointing out that in the last two votes on the president's budget, he has not picked up a single vote from EITHER PARTY in either house of Congress and has lost by a count of 508 - 0.
To make it seem through omission and fact massaging that only Republicans rejected the Obama budget is the sort of reporting that usually goes completely unchallenged every day in America and in New Mexico.
