DOJ "Still Deciding" on NM Police Probe

Fourteen of them have died. The majority have been Hispanic men in their 20s and 30s.  But the Justice Department still hasn't decided whether to launch a full-scale "pattern or practice" investigation into APD, Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Hoses told a meeting of community groups at the Don Newton Taylor Ranch Community Center on Monday evening. Have the Governor issue an executive order that police officers may respond with deadly force UNTIL AFTER the perp has used deadly force toward the officers. Problem is, all the gutless cops would quit.

In the 50s, cops didn't do this crap. They handled the situation and were respected. Today, the cops act as bad as the hoodlums and get little respect. What do they expect?
